A big part of my life, as an artist, has been capitalising on a multi-disciplinary approach and transferring those skills for arts engagement over the last 10 years. I have delivered participatory arts projects for the Education Department The Lighthouse Glasgow’s Centre for Design and Architecture, The Royal Commission for Ancient and Historic Monuments in Edinburgh, House for an Art Lover, Glasgow Life, Glasgow Housing Association, Hackney and Newcastle Housing Associations and for North and South Lanarkshire Councils.
During art college I worked primarily with video, creating the audio-visual installations which became the basis of personal practice. I have installed work in a wide range of formal and informal settings, creating one off audio/visual installations in galleries, art happenings, at mini festivals, in clubs and for corporate events.
More recently I have been draw back to painting, which is of great satisfaction and adds another layer of possibility to my work both collaboratively and within the wider community. http://carolinecampbell.weebly.com/
