Projects I devise for young people within formal educational settings will be designed to support a schools' current learning programme for the Curriculum for Excellence's four main capacities. Within these capacities one can also find plenty of opportunity to expand and create dynamic learning experiences for projects outwith the school environment, supporting Lifelong Learning and thus fostering resilience in young people for the future.
My prime motivation
is being an enabler of that sense of achievement people experience when they gain confidence and satisfaction through their own efforts and the difference it can make to their overall quality of life, confidence and happiness. As a creative practitioner I relish problem solving and know the value of flexible creative thinking in all contexts.
Core Workshop Skills
Digital Media - Photography, digital video production, video and audio editing, video mixing, stop frame animation, Photoshop, digital feedback experiments and design.
Traditional - Drawing, painting, mind mapping, up cycling decorative processes, mosaic, papier mache, plaster casting, mod rock and clay sculpting, basic weaving, model making and large scale sculptural object making.
